Bridal nails: planning your set from engagement to aisle

· · 1 min read

A gentle timeline for the most photographed hands of your life — including the trial most brides skip.

Your hands will be in more photographs on your wedding day than your shoes. Ring shots, bouquet shots, the first-dance close-ups. A little planning goes a long way.

Three months before

Begin regular manicures to bring your natural nails into their best condition. If you are considering extensions, now is the time to try them.

Six weeks before: the trial

Book a full trial with your chosen artist. Bring photographs of your dress, flowers and ring. We will try two options on alternate hands so you can compare in daylight.

Two days before

Your final set. Gel or sculpted extensions are ideal — fully cured, nothing to smudge, perfect for the honeymoon.

The most beautiful bridal nails are the ones that make the ring look even better.

Bridal parties can reserve the whole atelier on Sunday mornings — with champagne, of course.
