A closer look at our most restorative treatment — and the thinking behind the forty-five quiet minutes.
The Hand Ritual began as a staff treat. After long days at the lamp, our artists would take turns giving each other paraffin wraps. Guests started asking what smelled so good.
What happens
- A warm towel compress and gentle enzyme exfoliation.
- A rose-clay mask to brighten and soften.
- A warm paraffin wrap, sealed in linen.
- Fifteen minutes of lymphatic massage for hands and forearms.
Why it works
Warmth opens the skin to the oils that follow, and slow massage reduces puffiness and tension. Most guests report their rings fit more easily afterwards.
We do not play music during the ritual. Most people fall quiet within five minutes — it is the nicest sound in the atelier.
